It’s been a tough couple of years. Each one among us could list off the news headlines as lengthy and overwhelming reminder. And each certainly curate personalized that amplifies extends our collective sufferings. The past years have left me wondering, “what possibly be next?” I heed David Geoffrey Smith’s (2014) call to “reimagine new, wiser human possibilities” for overlapping worlds suffering. As an educator, mother, world-lover deeply concerned with all forms justice, share grief-writing: poetic stories small-town sufferings through floods, family hurts, heartaches loss, love enduring hopelessness. engage life writing inquiry undertake dialogue my own heart-memories, loved ones, scholarly ancestors— towards hopeful pedagogical possibilities healing.
